Min at Koptos

Min was a god of fertility. His cult center was Koptos. With the rise of Amun, Min, Ra and Amun were combined as a supreme god God of fertility. Min was depicted in a semi-mummiforied human form with an erect phallus. His headress was two tall plumes. By the New Kingdom he had merged with Amun who in turn had been merged with Ra. In the sketch above, Rameses III is participating in the festival of Min.
The walls at Medinet Habu retain much of their original color and show a procession similar to that of the Festival of Min.
