Deterline, W. A., & Lenn, P. D. Coordinated instructional systems
training: A self-study course for teachers. Palo Alto, Calif.: Sound
Education, Inc., 1972.
The design of valid tests is one critical component of the instructional
design process. In order to assess the effectiveness of any instructional
program it is necessary to develop some means of measuring the
output of student learning.
Johnson, E., & Mirabella, A. Test fidelity: Congruence of test
conditions with actual Army tasks. Proceedings of the 16th Annual
Conference of the Military Testing Association, 1974, 590-595.
One method to reduce the cost of training and testing procedures
is to develop simulated approaches to testing for appropriate
job tasks. Fidelity as it relates to training and testing is discussed
in regard to specific job tasks.
Osborn, W. C, Harris, J. H., & Ford, J. P. Functionally integrated
performance testing. Proceedings of the 16th Annual Conference of
the Military Testing Association, 1974, 582-589.
