To reduce risks of underestimating
Projects it is necessary to construct and maintain a set of high level
estimating guidelines for all standard products of WebDev Studios
based on historical data collected for similar projects and products.
These Guidelines must be continually reviewed and refined based
on the latest project work efforts for the product. Continual refinement
should result in continuous improvement in estimating costs of projects.
These improvements will result in greater profit margins being realized
and fewer "unexpected" scope alignments due to poor estimation
at the proposal stage.
