The Second
Coffin is gold plated wood.
Nested inside were the inner gold
coffin and the mummy. The outside
coffin is not in the museum, but is in
the tomb and holds the mummy
of Tutankhamun.

Tutankhamun's inner coffin, left and
right. Note the vulture Nebket that spans the
chest of the mummy with its wings. A goddess protects the
feet and the
face is obviously the work of the same craftsman/artist
that made the mask.
